‘Women and Their Fish’ is a fun ongoing series often incorporating friends and acquaintances into the bizarrely friendly portraits of an awkward pairing. It’s not a statement of women and their men companions, albeit that has been suggested. If so, then the absurdity perhaps has some sense to it. (lol!)

The process is building a tapestry, via flowers etc, then inserting the avatar (model blend of multiples) and lastly the fish. You can be commissioned into this series too. What I need is a head and shoulder jpeg, and what has always been your most favorite fish.

Thanks for having  a sense of humor.

You are at Studiovistadelmar. You are in Women & Their Fish. If you would like to be included in this serris, I need a simple above the shoulders jpeg,  and a notion as to what your favorite fish may be.

Portrait of Diane   (commission)

This series is a lot of fun. Matching Women, Tapestry, and Fish into the same vehicle .....is an absurd gesture at best.

Nonetheless each of these pieces retains a chaotic beauty with a hint of pride. Everybody loves their catch, and thinks more consequentially  about  it later.

Having evolved from the sea, per most scientists,  things that swim have an eternal attraction.  However scientist wont say a tuna, or a salmon  is  a distant cousin, not like the status of  a common  chimpanzee. But who in their right mind would want Women, Tapestry and Monkeys to be the subject material here?

Fish are beautiful. Play with them, but don't harm them. If you choose to eat one, may I suggest a monkey first.

P.S (commissions) If you ever want to be in a picture like this, and look twenty years younger, send me  jpegs  of at least two images (face only. one profile). Also, a mention of your favorite fish would be helpful.
